I am a very lucky person as Fitness and Martial Arts have been in my life since my early childhood when I started wrestling at the age of 8 under my cousin’s mentorship. A couple years later, Martial Arts became my real passion after I joined the Martial Arts Academy well known in my hometown for an amazing team of experienced instructors. I have an extensive experience in participating the numerous tournaments and competitions.
I hold black belt in Kyokushin Karate, Top Karate and Sport Kickboxing Karate. I have 30 years of experience teaching Martial Arts. My other achievements include awards in boxing and wrestling. All my siblings also have a diverse background in sports. Both my brothers are the World Champions in wrestling and Martial Arts and our younger sister is an English teacher and Martial Arts instructor.

I have recently trained to instruct students age 3 to 50+ in the Taekwondo. As well as the physical training, I also teach my students, the history, traditions and values behind the Martial Arts so my students will fully understand what they are learning.
I have the experience and interpersonal skills to work with and train seniors, Kid, Youth, Teenager and Adult in Taekwondo.
Students will learn in a safe and controlled manner to prevent accidents and to reduce the risk of injuries. My communication style is straightforward and clear and I have the ability to adapt my teaching methods to match the various skills of my students.
I am very organized and plan each class carefully in order to address the individual needs of this age group.
Taekwondo is effective for building strength, balance and confidence in students and along with the actual techniques used in this sport, I present each class in a way that makes this highly beneficial training, fun.

My name is Cyrus Angha from South London, 🇬🇧 England. I have been living in Vancouver, BC 🇨🇦 for over 14 years and come from a diverse background.
Why Martial Arts?
My inspiration was sparked by my father who was an Iranian Imperial Airforce sargeant with a Karate brown belt. On my mother's side, South Indian Kerala Martial Arts was taught to all my family members as culture and a way of life. As a 80's baby, I grew up on movies featuring Bruce Lee, Van Dam, Jackie Chan and other Ninja/Martial Arts inspired films. In that era, every Martial Arts gym around the UK was filled with inspired students. Hence, I started off with Karate for a few years, Wing Chun Gung Fa (Black Sash), full contact/underground kickboxing. As I got older, my career path took me towards active close protection security positions and security work. I got into weapons training, street defense, Krav Maga, and close protection skills. Currently, I serve as a Law Enforcer with BC Sheriff Services, and certified in firearms tactics, close combat, CEW, pressure points control, suspect physical control, and tactical driving. As a result of my 3 years with the BC Sheriff Services, I have learned that training is a rich endeavor that never ends.

I also enjoy Disney movies and watch a lot of Disney plus, and ancient history programs.
Well simply, I am very passionate about helping people achieve their personally set goals and witness their growth and achievements. I take my role within the Martial Arts world seriously by leading as a example within my personal and professional environments. I enjoy meeting new students and hearing their stories and what they want to accomplish through their physical training. My role is to facilitate their self confidence and help build their skills and abilities. I had great instructors and mentors with the best intentions, and now I want to provide that for others.
